I know I'm really late in getting this up, but better late than never!
This holiday season, instead of making a gingerbread house like we did last year, we went for a giant gingerbread man. Really he was a sugar cookie man, but let's not split hairs. He ended up with some sort of eye condition, and yes, we are the type to eat the gingerbread man feet first. Is that more or less humane than head first??
In case anyone is wondering, yes, I do still have a wrapping paper problem. Though, a few of the rolls are getting lower now.
This picture of Nyssa in her Fido Fleece turned out so well. Sadly this was her last Christmas with us, as she passed away in the beginning of January from heart failure. We will miss her tons!
I'm still not sure if Lisa liked her plushie Cthulu or Tardis USB hub better.
Robert amused us all by posing with his boxes for pictures.
Mom liked her bike necklace and fancy new Crock Pot from Lisa.
Dan and I exchanged our gifts later in the day. Our main gift this year was that we bought tickets to go see Eddie Izzard live at the Boston TD Garden. He is currently our favorite comedian, and the show on January 12 was fantastic. We don't think there has ever been a time that we have laughed so hard for so long!
We had fun opening and sharing other presents on Christmas day.
Dan did like his Top Gear calendar, even though we soon discovered that it is a British printing of the calendar, and does not list US holidays. Oops!
Dan got me this cool painting of the bumper details of a classic Chevy Bel Air. It is an actual painting on canvas, and not a photo, as I initially thought it was because of the detail.
We hope everyone had a good holiday season and wish everyone the best for a happy and healthy new year!
